Yes he did, he was being hurried and through the ball up, was a terrible idea at the time, it was int and led to Godsey's FG

Re: all lpd football
But he didn't hand the game to us, I have talked to several people and coaches from PV and they have said that was the best "big" game that he has played in his career. IMO he played very well against us, but to some, they don't take into consideration the scoring drives or big 3rd Down throws they just see the turnovers. Everybody has their opinion though.

I didnt say he did, they didnt hand the game to us at all, we took it

Re: all lpd football
You did take the game from them. I was there and Cedric did have a good game, but if you want to be a great QB and a great leader you find a way to win. Pressure bothers Cedric, and he has to overcome that. Burton turned his liability to their assest by getting after him the way a good defense should.

Re: all lpd football
Cedric had nothing to do with the 2 fumbles right after the half...without those 14 points the INT means squat.

Re: all lpd football
# 7 for Pound is Aaron Balthis. He is a Freshman but has had a real standout year down in the lb. I don't know his stats but I'd say they are comparable to many of the "top" players in the LPD.

Re: all lpd football
No the int. does mean something, it means that when the pressure was on he folded and costs a chance to score and maybe swing the momentum of the game.

Re: all lpd football
I've seen some of the "top" receivers around the area play, and the Balthis kid will stack up to any of them. Your team does not have to win for you to be an impact player, and he is an impact player. But he will probably get screwed out of all district because he is just a freshman, and he will have other years to make the team while some senior who is only half as good makes it because it is his last chance.

Re: all lpd football
That's the same logic that says when you don't capitalize on early turnovers, you can still blame the outcome of a game on a ref's call. The momentum of that game had already swung..that INT didn't mean much at that point.
